    EXCELLENCE IN HERPETOFAUNAL CONSERVATION AWARD

    About the Excellence in Herpetofaunal Conservation Award

    This Award is presented by Northeast Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (NEPARC) to recognize an individual who has made significant contributions to conservation of amphibians and reptiles in the northeast region of PARC. The award recognizes someone who has worked collaboratively with partners outside the individual’s organization to prevent loss of species or their habitats, or who has educated others in furtherance of the PARC mission.
    The recipient is presented with the award at the Annual Meeting of Northeast PARC, which is typically held each July or August. Recipients are awarded registration and free lodging and meals for this meeting, as well as a plaque commemorating the award.

    COMMUNITY CONSERVATION AWARD

    About the Community Conservation Award

    This Award is presented by NEPARC to recognize an individual who has made a considerable contribution(s) to the conservation of amphibians and reptiles in a particular state or geographical area in the NEPARC region. The award recognizes someone who has worked with partners outside the individual’s organization to prevent loss of species or their habitats at a state- or local-level, or has educated others in furtherance of the NEPARC mission at a state- or local-level. The recipient is presented with the award at the Annual Meeting of NEPARC, which is typically held each July or August. Recipients are awarded registration and free lodging and meals for this meeting, as well as a plaque commemorating the award.
